Volunteer Opportunity: Healing and Creation with the Audubon Society

Saturday, August 17, 2024 - 9:00am to 12:00pm

As part of our Year of Healing program, we are excited to offer a volunteer opportunity on August 17, dedicated to "Healing and Creation." This event is a continuation of our ongoing commitment to explore various aspects of healing throughout the year. In August, we focus on how we can heal within God's creation and also how we can contribute to healing creation itself by embracing our role as responsible stewards of the environment.

Join us in making a positive impact by volunteering with the Audubon Society at the Bison Paddock in Golden Gate Park. Together, we can help restore the habitat of the endangered white-crowned sparrow by participating in activities such as weeding and tending to a garden of native plants, which are essential for the sparrow's nesting.
