St. John Armenian Apostolic Church
invites you and your family to join our Church and our community, beginning every Sunday morning with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy (Badarak)
Please join us every Sunday morning for a celebration of the Divine Liturgy (Badarak) in English and
Armenian. Services begin promptly at 10:30 a.m., and are followed by a light repast in the Church Hall.
Promoting Armenian Christianity in the lives of our children is important. Each Sunday
from September to June, we offer children of all ages a firm foundation in Christianity, the Bible, and our Holy Traditions.
St. John Parish was originally founded in 1924 as St. Nersess Shnorhali Parish, and the current sanctuary
was consecrated in 1958 under the leadership of Archpriest Fr. Artoon Sempadian.
The Repose of Souls (literally, "rest for the souls") Service is a devout ceremony based on
the teaching of communion with the saints and conducted for the souls of those individuals who have entered eternal rest.
